Why Don’t Shoe Manufacturers Like Toddler Sizes?

I personally don’t think that shoe manufacturer like toddler sizes. I have been on a mission to find a particular kind of shoe for my 2 year old who wears a size 9. The only reason this mission began was because I saw pair of white eyelet ballet flats for an infant that would go perfectly with her Easter dress. I don’t necessarily need them to be ballet flats, but I wanted a pair of semi-dressy shoes covered with the white eyelet fabric. I found them in infant, girls’ and womens’ sizes. All sizes for females with the exception of toddlers!! Why?!?! I might understand a little better if I only found them in one category of sizes. But I found them in all except toddlers. Ugh!!!!!

Who really attends churches like this?!?!

I have never been to or seen a church service like this! I assume these people “got the holy ghost” or something. I think if I went to a church service and stuff like this started to happen, I would be more scared than anything else. Check it out for yourself…

Georgia Lawmakers Want to Bring Back State Sales Tax on Groceries

As if the economy isn’t bad enough, the Georgia House of Representatives has proposed a bill to reinstate the 4% state sales tax on food and beverages. I currently pay 3% county sales tax on food and beverages, this will increase to 7% if this bill becomes law in January 2010. Groceries are already expensive enough. Consumers get raped by manufacturers and distributors every day! Now the state wants to get in on the action.

This bill is sponsored by Rep. Chuck Sims (R). Yes, there is an “R” after his name! Yes, he is a REPUBLICAN! Aren’t Republicans all about cutting taxes to stimulate the economy? Isn’t that the party line even though it doesn’t really work in the grand scheme of things. Here is a Republican who wants to raise taxes during this recession. They also want to change tax code so that you can get a tax credit for groceries IF you qualify and apply for the credit properly. They will probably make it so confusing that people won’t apply for the credit. They probably won’t inform people about this credit either.

Keith Olbermann: Rush Redux

Is Rush Limbaugh really the person the Republicans or the “conservative movement” want to speak on their behalf?! I guess if they really have issues with equal rights for women and if they really are closet (and sometimes not so in the closet) racists, then Rush Limbaugh is they guy for them. I just don’t understand how so many people listen to him and take what he says as fact without looking into it themselves! The guy gets paid millions to get ratings people! Hello…of course he is going to embellish and even lie to keep you listening!

This song aired on The Mornin’ Show, a local program carried by NBC affiliate WTVA in Tupelo, Mississippi. All I can say is WTF? I’m not going to get into the lyrics…they speak for themselves! I don’t even know why the chick is up there. She was clearly not into singing! If there are only 2 of you up there, you should be a bit more into your performance. It’s not like a whole choir were you can get a way with something like this.
