In fun news, Glen Beck has lost his suit against Isaac Eiland-Hall and his site www.glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com Apparently Mr. Beck thought that he could keep people from making up crazy stories about him, but then got smacked in the face with the beauty of the first ammendment. Beck is very smart to use stupid people to make money, but he’s still a douche. Good job Isaac.

I can’t understand how a company with so much money devoted to marketing can suck so bad at it. News flash, no one cares about your stupid yodel brand. Most people on the internet care about getting what they want when they want it. There is nothing more annoying than a big company trying to be cutesy and failing at everything else. Why aren’t there advertisements and news bulletins about the Yahoo Finance section? Your real-time stock info is pretty awesome, and you piss that away! Apparently, your OMG! portal is the most popular destination for gossip and yet I had no idea it was there! What is wrong with you people??
This promote the lame and hide the great attitude is why you have become irrelevant, and I think you guys need to revisit the land of common sense. If you need marketing advice, let me know I think my 3 year old daughter can out market your current marketing firm/department. Holy crap, why would you spend so much money on geocities and then do nothing meaningful with it? How about this, instead of your happy fun commercials at the end of CNET vidcasts, try substantive commercials about the cool things you do. At least let the tech community know about the cool things you do so we can enjoy them and bring you traffic. That’s how the net works by the way.

As I watch the tea party news coverage on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News I can’t help but wonder what motivates these people. My first assumption was that these people were out of work and pissed about it so they decided to join in. Then when I saw the guns coming out, I assumed that these were gun nuts trying to peacock for television. Now I really don’t know what the motivation is anymore.
I can’t believe that these people are truly bothered with a government run health care insurance program. Let me rephrase that a little, not all of these people are bothered by a government plan. A large portion of the people I see on the news networks are on Medicare. The rest seem to be either be employees of health-care companies or tin-foil hat wearers. Either way they don’t seem to be rational about their objections and never seem to have a solution to the problem.
I really have a problem with the government is bad approach to this debate. Let’s be honest, government run institutions aren’t all run poorly. I know that it’s easy to throw that attack out there, but it’s truly stupid. If you have a problem with government institutions then don’t ever call 911, it’s not for you. The fire and police department are government run and no one ever yells socialism at them. In fact a lot of cops are probably staunch conservatives.
Bottom line, if you don’t like government then boycott the police, the fire department, and the military. If you don’t you are a socialist!
