Watch McCain defend his false robo-call
John McCain is absolutely pathetic! Look at his face as he lies to everyone. Why won’t John McCain say this crap on a real show and not Fake News.

Really?!?! John McCain is proud of the people who shout “terrorist,” “kill him,” and “treason” at the mention of Barack Obama’s name? John McCain is proud of the people who say Barack Obama is a terrorist because “he’s got the blood lines?” John McCain is proud of the people who bring stuffed monkeys to make fun of Barack Obama? John McCain is proud of the people who think Barack Obama is a terrorist because of his middle name? John McCain is proud of the people who think Barack Obama is a Muslim because he lived abroad when he was a child? So, John McCain is proud of the racism and stupidity that is present at his rallies? Really?!?!?
G. Gordon Liddy is one of John McCain’s closest friends as well as a financial donor including a $1,000 donation this year. G. Gordon Liddy was involved in Watergate and served time in prison for burglary, conspiracy and illegal wiretapping. In an audio interview, John McCain said that he is “proud” of him. John McCain also says in that same interview that G. Gordon Liddy’s philosophies “keep our nation great.”
John McCain wants to know the extent of Barack Obama’s relationship William Ayers. Senator McCain, what is the extent of your relationship with the radical, Watergate felon, who idolized Adolf Hitler, G. Gordon Liddy?
John McCain finally admitted in the final presidential debate that he will tax employer sponsored health care benefits. John McCain also stated that the average cost of health insurance is $5,800 when it is actually around $12,000. It may be around $5,800 if you are young and healthy and don’t mind paying a $5,000 deductible before anything is covered. But, to get a plan that is comparable to an employer sponsored plan, you are going to pay around $12,000.
I know all of this from experience having worked in Human Resources for an employer that offered excellent health insurance to its employees to now being in that private health insurance market. Let me tell you, individual health insurance is whack arnolds!! It is extremely whack arnolds if you want maternity coverage too!!
To cover myself (with maternity coverage) and my daughter, I paid $6,996 ($583/month) last year. In addition to those premiums, I had to pay 20% of the doctor’s contracted rate with the insurance company. Some preventive care and sick visits were covered up to $500 per quarter. I also had a $1,500 per person deductible for hospitalization. And the maternity benefit only covered up to $3,200 which included all prenatal care, lab work, labor, delivery, hospital costs, and postpartum care. I am responsible for the balance and at last count that was over $3,000.
When my 2nd daughter was born this year, my premiums increased to $737/month ($8,844/year). To lower the premium, I had to increase my deductible to $5,000 per person. This lowered my premium to $625/month (7,500/year). I have since needed to reduce our premiums even further. So, I switched to a different insurance company that does not offer maternity coverage. I now pay $283/month ($3,396/year) which sounds great, but I have a $3,000 per person deductible that I have to meet before any doctor’s visits, prescriptions, etc. are covered. The only thing that is not subject to the deductible are my daughters’ well child visits and immunizations…there is a $20 copay for those.
My husband has a pre-existing condition and did not qualify for the same insurance that we have. Luckily, the state we live in offers a state plan if you cannot qualify for other plans; however, the coverage is really whack arnolds!! In addition to the cost of my plan, we pay $256/month ($3,072/year) for my husband. In addition to that, we have to pay all covered expenses (doctors, labs, prescriptions, etc.) out of pocket until we hit $1,500. Once we meet the $1,500 deductible, we have to pay 30% of the cost of all covered expenses.
So, how much does it cost a family of 4 (well 3 in 2007) to get health insurance in the free market…$12,255.63 in 2007 and $10,088.46 so far for 2008 (not including all of the hospital bills for my 2nd child who was born this year).
John McCain’s idea to have everyone in the free health care market is stupid! Insurance companies will set up in the states that have the fewest health care laws and you will pay more for less coverage. For example, the state we live in requires insurance companies to cover well child visits up to age 5. Not all states have this requirement. So, you could potentially think your child’s visits will be covered because you are allowed to purchase insurance from this company; however, because they are located in a state that does not have that same requirement, your child’s visits will not be covered.
John McCain’s health care policies are whack arnolds!!
Oh wait, it wasn’t really that new. I find it amazing that this guy thinks that he is not on television. It is almost as if they aren’t being covered on the news. His running mate is the same way, when proven to have violated ethics laws she says she was exonerated. Holy crap this is a dysfunctional campaign.
