Surprise, surprise. The Troopergate investigation coordinated by Alaska’s Personnel Board has found that Sarah Palin did not violate Alaska’s state ethics law. Cronyism…need I say more. The Personnel Board is appointed by the governor so they must be right. Everything that was found when the bipartisan Legislative Council coordinated the first Troopergate investigation must be wrong. Again, I say, cronyism!

Within an hour of the report’s release Monday, the McCain campaign put out a statement by Palin’s lawyer, Thomas Van Flein.

“The Governor is grateful that this investigation has provided a fair and impartial review of this matter and upholds the Governor’s ability to take measures when necessary to ensure that Alaskans have the best possible team working to serve them,” the statement said.

How can this be a “fair and impartial review” when the Personnel Board is appointed by the governor? Obviously, Sarah Palin, is thrilled at 1 for 2 in these investigations. 1 for 2…are you serious?! In this situation you need to be 2 for 2 or your credibility is shot!

Even Alaska’s largest newspaper doesn’t think Sarah Palin is ready to be in the White House. The Anchorage Daily News endorsed Barack Obama for President saying of Sarah Palin, “Yet despite her formidable gifts, few who have worked closely with the governor would argue she is truly ready to assume command of the most important, powerful nation on earth. To step in and juggle the demands of an economic meltdown, two deadly wars and a deteriorating climate crisis would stretch the governor beyond her range.”

This is sad because Alaska is a Republican state!!

I was sitting on my front porch handing out candy to kids tonight when this one group of kids commented on my Obama/Biden yard sign. Their dad said that they were at a safe house because we are Obama supporters. The kids then said that they were scared to go up to the houses that had McCain/Palin signs in the yard. These girls looked to be about 12-14 years old and they were black. That is a sad thing for this day and time.

Way to go McCain/Palin…you have successfully divided the country by racial lines more so than it was before you spewed all of your hatred.

Shortly after John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, my husband shared his conspiracy theory with me. My husband thought it was a possibility that when John McCain met Sarah Palin at some governor’s convention, that they slept together (Sarah Palin’s plan) and Sarah Palin blackmailed John McCain into picking her as his running mate. I thought this way too far fetched.

* Former Wasilla Mayor John Stein says he mentored Palin during her 1994 run for City Council. Then she decided to challenge him and run for Mayor. “Things got very ugly,’ Naomi Tigner, a friend of the Steins, told Salon.com. “Sarah became very mean-spirited.” Palin allies suggested she would he “Wasilla’s first Christian mayor,” even though Stein is Protestant. Palin allies also whispered that Stein and his wife – who hadn’t taken his name – were not legally wed. “We actually had to produce our marriage certificate,’ Stein said. His wife died in 2005 without ever reconciling with Palin. “I had a hand in creating Sarah, but in the end she blew me out of the water,” Stein told Salon. “Sarah’s on a mission, she’s an opportunist.”

After reading about this and all of the other people who have helped Sarah Palin get to where she is and how Sarah Palin later stabbed them all in the back….you never know.
