In fun news, Glen Beck has lost his suit against Isaac Eiland-Hall and his site www.glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com Apparently Mr. Beck thought that he could keep people from making up crazy stories about him, but then got smacked in the face with the beauty of the first ammendment. Beck is very smart to use stupid people to make money, but he’s still a douche. Good job Isaac.
Say it ain’t so! How pathetic are these two? They need the lime-light this much that they have to fake date each other on some lame reality show? I smell a car wreck. The reality genre is really getting annoying, and it’s ruining television. I understand that it’s cheap, but seriously it’s horrible and the main reason why people go online to watch television these days. Read about the stupidity!
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Discover for being full of douchey goodness. You guys suck! How is it possible that economic environment would make you raise the rate on my account? You already have garbage rates and I pay my bill up on time every month. So, now you are trying to make that extra little bit off of everyone who pay regularly? Get a better business model. How about now giving cards to everyone with horrible credit or fresh out of high school? I have friends who have great jobs, and they haven’t been able to get one card from anyone. I guarantee that if I go to spring break and get a stupid cheap towel, that I can get a credit card. What a bunch of losers you guys are, and I am not talking about the daily workers. I am talking about the middle and upper management dingbats that run the company. How about doing something right for a change and not jacking up your good customers. I hope your company continues to go through financial hell until you fail and are removed from earth. You suck!
As if the economy isn’t bad enough, the Georgia House of Representatives has proposed a bill to reinstate the 4% state sales tax on food and beverages. I currently pay 3% county sales tax on food and beverages, this will increase to 7% if this bill becomes law in January 2010. Groceries are already expensive enough. Consumers get raped by manufacturers and distributors every day! Now the state wants to get in on the action.
This bill is sponsored by Rep. Chuck Sims (R). Yes, there is an “R” after his name! Yes, he is a REPUBLICAN! Aren’t Republicans all about cutting taxes to stimulate the economy? Isn’t that the party line even though it doesn’t really work in the grand scheme of things. Here is a Republican who wants to raise taxes during this recession. They also want to change tax code so that you can get a tax credit for groceries IF you qualify and apply for the credit properly. They will probably make it so confusing that people won’t apply for the credit. They probably won’t inform people about this credit either.
Is Rush Limbaugh really the person the Republicans or the “conservative movement” want to speak on their behalf?! I guess if they really have issues with equal rights for women and if they really are closet (and sometimes not so in the closet) racists, then Rush Limbaugh is they guy for them. I just don’t understand how so many people listen to him and take what he says as fact without looking into it themselves! The guy gets paid millions to get ratings people! Hello…of course he is going to embellish and even lie to keep you listening!
